Some news!

Hello everybody!!
Well, I noticed some of us were not really active these days (including me), but I guess we're all growing up, searching for work or already working, or simply moving on to other hobbies... Anyway, I hope that everybody is having a great time doing what they are doing, THAT is the most important thing about everything!
About me, I'm currently having a small job but searching for one is time consuming and learning to do the job properly takes lot of time and energy so free time for hobbies is GONE!!
And I don't know when I'll regain time and energy to practice hobbies.. My top hobbies papercraft and sewing are on hold but I still produce some 3D models when I have time. I hope to be able to papercraft soon so I can show you. 
Also if I really don't have time for building but I still want to share my models, don't worry if I share only the visual of the pdo or if I ask for a testbuilder (as always I leave my pdos unlocked so even without testbuild errors can be corrected, by me or any of you).
So those are the small news, hope everybody is well too and see you for now!
PS: And late but warm thanks for every of those who wished me a happy birthday, I turned 22 this year!

I'm a jack-of-all-trades, I did origami, I sew, I draw a little and make other various crafts but for now DA is only for Papercraft.

Well, at this time I was still on my Pokemon Mystery Dungeon : Red Rescue Team phase (I still really love this game) and Gardevoir's story really interessed me so I decided to call myself Gardevoir with the number I liked (7) just after because I had, like, zero imagination at this time.
It's having this pseudonym that made me fall in love with the pokemon. Strange story, heh?
My current pseudonym is ExtremeDelta. Because it was cool and my last name begins with a D.
And that's all! This is a little part of who I am.

Convention!!!

Hello, hello everyone!
With
, we took part to a convention on the 28th and 29th of May, it was Epitanime, just under Paris in France. 
It was our first convention ever and we were just so excited
to display our models and be able to exchange with people about papercraft, because it is not well known in France, in fact very few people knew about it. 
Here is a picture of our stand on the first day:
It was very difficult to transport the models from our houses to the convention but it was 10000 times worth it!
People were very impressed by the models, lots of them thought they were figures and that made us very proud!
We organized working groups during the day to introduce papercraft to people, with 3 simple models to build ; the group of the afternoon was so popular!!

The second stand highlighted our models better since the table was smaller so we sorted them by little themes and sometimes by color.
Some of the models we displayed are not yet available but they will be one day so stay tuned!
So, to conclude, this experience was AMAZING. We keep such great memories of these 2 days and were so happy to see interest in people's eyes and to share our passion with them. All we can hope is to take part in other conventions (which could probably be the case) and meet people who resemble us and share the same hobbies.

Help to choose varnish!

Hello fellows papercrafters!
As the title says, I want to try varnish on papercafts but there are so many that I got lost in my search and choosing... Do you have any preference on a certain brand? Matte or gloss? Any advice too for varnishing? And what varnish if the surface is painted (acrylic or gouache)?
Any help would be very welcome!
